I did something useful! My Artificer, Zue, got to use Restorative Infusion!

Restorative Infusion

Daily . Minor Action

Ranged 5

You infuse a comrad with a restorative compound. That ally can then redirect excess vitality to your other allies.

Not gonna lie…my life flashed before my eyes. I had my death scene planned out and everything.

Last night, I was Wonder Woman. And I helped a PowerPuff girl, Mario, Princess Peach, Bayonetta, and Kangief (?) rescue Diddy Kong from Wario.

Alcohol was involved.

So it wasn’t actually DnD that we played, but Drunken DnD nights are always a good time.

Time for some DnD babble. I started DMing and decide to start working on my own storyline and world. It’s the curse of the writer. It’s also pretty rough but I hope to develop it over time.

In this scene, we have a group of rai (name of the citizens) from the utopian city of Moon Harbor. It’s 20 years before the next chapter will start, and the utopia has started to break down. The elder council has asked for the best trained scholars in each of the educational areas (healing, battle, magic, and spiritual) to go to the city of Nocturne in the Cascade Hills to ask the Prime Minister for help. On their journey, they came across two Centipede Scuttlers and a trio of Gnolls (2 marauders and a huntmaster). Being a 4e encounter, I was a little light on the enemies, but I made up for it later with some bullywugs and a young dragon.

For my fellow gamers. Follow the link, read the article, check out the site. You can even find Pt. 1 in there.

This week we tried a new seating arrangement, and I think it worked out okay, considering we have such a small apartment. That might just be wishful thinking on my part though. I really like having it at home and I’m becoming a fan of the smaller space. At least in this case.

After the game, I told Felber how much I’m enjoying playing this one. To be fair, all the games I’ve played have been fun, but this may be the first time I feel really comfortable and confident with a DnD game. I like the Eberon world, and I love my character. My changeling rogue is possibly my favorite of the characters I’ve played thus far.

Last night, she turned into a goblin minion. The time before, a zombie. The only person who’s actually noticed is the minotaur and he’s all sorts of confused by it.

We also have a really good gaming group. Several of the players are coming from 2.0. I’ve never played anything before 3.5, but one of the girls in our group grew up on 2.0 and is one of the few people in the area (possibly in the world if speculation is correct) to still run the system. She and the others who play in her game are enjoying 4.0, moreso than those we know who are pretty set on 3.5. I enjoy aspects of both systems, but as I’ve said in one of my www.F1337command.com blogs, 4.0 is my first true love and will be the one I run.

I may start recounting these adventures, though in the interest of the game itself, I don’t want to ruin this adventure for any other players out there. Still, there may be more highlights to come if I can find a way to put it into blog form without spoilers.
